Getting a sister to accept help

I'm new here. I have a sister who has always struggled with mental health - depression, bulimia and can't be alone. She had been with her husband since 15 and has 4 daughters and 10 grandchildren. They separated 10 years ago due to her alcohol use and mental health since she has had has to have a partner constantly regardless of who they are. She has tried to commit suicide and has recently broken up with the latest boyfriend and had to have the police and ambulance called again last night as family couldn't contact her. My family want to stage some sort of invention to tell her how valued and important she is. I'm not sure this will go well with her. Any ideas of where to next to get her accept she has an alcohol problem and go to AA or a support group would be appreciated. I live 3 states
