HELP! My partner has Bipolar II

Hi, my partner has schizoeffective disorder and when he is becoming manic he too says lots of horrible things and says he wants to break up and then when his episode has moved to the next stage he wants me and only me and cannot remember saying any of the previous stuff. Could that be what is happening now to you??? It is hard, very hard to hear and go through. I understand what you are going through
