Things are ok and steady here at the moment (relatively speaking), certainly an upgrade on last year. I am in the middle of assessment at uni at the moment so being kept on my toes and a little weary. Looking forward to a break in 2 weeks time. 

How is the (not so) new job going for you? I think you may have not long started a new job when we last spoke. I hope you have settled in and it is going well for you.

I just got my car Airbag safety recall done.

So now hopefully it won't explode, as they said scarily in the recall letter.

I still don't understand how it takes them 8 years (since bought car), to decide that things are faulty.

@Adge My car was recalled aswell for airbags. I've had it for three years and it had previous owners. I agree it's scary that it's taken so long to realise there's an issue

Yes it is @Anna88 We got it attended to, I guess that's the main thing.

This is the 3rd recall I've had.

1st it was the driver-side window mechanism, then it was the fuel pump.

All 3 of them were within the last 18 months.

It's been very difficult to schedule, because I cannot get to work without the car, it's too far away.

Plus the Dealer/ service centre usually insists on keeping the car for an entire day, to do a 1 hour job.

In this case, I sat & waited for 1 & 1/2 hours, while they did it.

They promised it would be done in less than 1 hour...
