Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

ha ha @Adge you can have @SleepyPanda's coffee, Smiley Very Happy

I wonder who is on now xx

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Or the Lamington, if we're talking about Desserts (sweets).

Apparently it was invented in Queensland, & named after Lord Lamington, who was the Governor at the time.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Pav's apparently an Aussie invention, and of course there's Peach Melba too.

Named after Nellie Melba. My Hubby's side of the family has a story about a relative who briefly dated her before she was famous. The Melbourne Exhibition Building was under construction at the time, and the two of them scratched their initials on the building in an obscure hard to spot place, but then she went on tour and met someone else... So much for that brush with fame. 😉 Mind you, the initials should still be there to puzzle future restorers and historians.
