A long rave

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita son2 woke up just then and I had to get him back to bed. I actually sent you a post but for some reason it didn't go through ... I have son1 coming up with his father which should be great. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D I love seeing him and he will soon be heading back to Germany to his fretting gf who kindly lend him to us :).

I promise I would never just disappear mid conversation unless something happened to the computer or son2.

Re: A long rave

@Bunniekins, that's cool, I don't mind if you do disappear. You know, when I first joined the forum about three years ago, we didn't chat that much in real time. We left messages for each other that we'd pick up later, there were a lot of time gaps between messages. All fine with me. Heart

I'm so happy for you that you have your S1 with you for now and I love the way you say his gf is lending him to you.

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita Whenever I post at the same time with someone and they mention it I always think of you and snap :). Did you know that @Zoe7 is also a Saggy which means there are 4 fire signs that we know of The-red-centaur, you and me and Zoe7. I wonder how many more there are .... I wonder if someone has ever done a study of mi and zodiac signs .... I am sure some uni post graduate in psychology has at some stage.

Re: A long rave

Yes well they cannot stay with you forever it is all a part of growing up for both sides. I don't know how much I want to be a grandma though .... it is a good thing they are overseas ... I am not the grandmotherly sort that likes to doat (spelling??). I just survived bringing up my own .... so sending over money and presents will work out fine for me lol 😄

Re: A long rave

That's great, your attitude to parenting, @Bunniekins. I knew I wouldn't be able to look after children of my own. The sad story about that is I felt too sick for it, physically (with crohns disease) and mentally both. And then no money, terribly poor when I could have done it. Too much of a free spirit for it possibly too.

Feel free to 'snap' away with the simultaneous posting. Smiley Happy

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita son1 has crohns and yes has been through the mill with it. Is on daily medication but is controlled. It was hell for him so I can imagine all those years ago it would have been way worse for you. Not having money is hell. It is only now that I have my head above water and even then am not swimming just treading water so I know exactly what you mean. Life is tough and the uncertainty that health and monatory problems bring are simply well ... hellish for want of a better word.

Re: A long rave

Sorry for your S1, @Bunniekins, and what you would have gone through caring for him. It is a horrible disease. As you say, combined with severe shortage of money, the picture isn't that pretty. But still there have also been great experiences along the way.

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita Well Mazy you have always appeared to me to be someone who has held her head up high and gone boldy forth into battle :). In typical fire sign form.
