@Shaz51 - thanks so very much for my birthday wishes, firstly sung by a pack of cute dogs then followed by a beautiful looking cake - chocolate mud cake I think? Wonderful thanks heaps.
@outlander@BlueBay@Faith-and-Hope@MDT @Zoe7 @Mazarita @CheerBear - your birthday wishes and heartwarming pics were very much appreciated. Thank you all.
@Maggie- love the toothy dog pic. Cute smile, though it looks kind of guilty. Lovely to see you.
@Former-Member- Ahhh, another clever creation of yours using Holly's photo. She is a photogenic little girl isnt she? Anyway, I love it - thank you so much.
Everyone - Had a reasonable day. I had an appointment in town this morning at a Skin Cancer Clinic for a skin check. Had a couple of solar keratosis and another lump on my face which have been bothering me for a while, so I booked this appointment about a month ago. Just happened to be my birthday, but took it because otherwise I would have had to wait another month longer. Anyway had some pre cancerous keratosis frozen, one on my hand and one on my nose. But the dermatologist thinks another small lump on my face (side of the nose onto cheek) could be a Basal Cell Carcinoma. He wants to cut it out and get it tested. So another appointment to have that done in a few weeks, followed by another the week after to remove stitches. Great!
Then I was home to have a nice cuppa and a piece of date and walnut roll with hubby on the deck in the lovely autumn sun.
Then early afternoon back to town again for hubbys medical appointment. More changes to his meds necessary, but otherwise he's doing okay. He's allowed now to arrange to have eye cataracts removed, which makes him happy as he can barely see to read now. Both the immunotherapy he's been on for his cancer, and the steriod meds for his encephalitis cause eye problems, including causing or worsening cataracts.
So all up it was a fairly productive day.
I have bought take away Chinese for dinner tonight. So no cooking for me.
Thanks again everyone .... xxx
