One Day at a time here

Re: One Day at a time here

definitely a lot to process and think on, sending you hugs 💗 @Shaz51

glad you've got the home option for the overnight treatment, i imagine travelling up and back would've been quite exhausting.

Re: One Day at a time here

Especially when I can't drive so Mr shaz would have to do all the driving @rav3n , @Dimity

Will have to have surgery on my belly to set it all up , spend some times in hospital to learn how to connect myself to the machine at night time when I am at home

And it is forever

Until I have a kidney transplant if one is available

Re: One Day at a time here

Do the best you can. Glad

Re: One Day at a time here

Hey @Shaz51 👋🏼 my Shazzy. I had to Google the treatment. Confronting isn’t it?

If it can be used for 15 to 20 years, obviously people have found it doable.

Re: One Day at a time here

Oh @Shaz51 I'm sorry to hear that news

It's good that you can do peritoneal dialysis though, better than driving to and sit in a dialysis centre for hours

Do you know the time line for the set-up

Feel free to talk it out, vent etc myself I and I'm sure others are here listening, supporting

Re: One Day at a time here

No timeline yet @Till23 , @Glisten. @Jynx , @Appleblossom , @rav3n , @Dimity

But to get things rolling , we going to have so much stuff here for the setting up

So have to have surgery for 2 implants,  one in the arm and one in the stomach to attach to the machine
