Yes thats what I thought @TAB unusual for RSL dude to suggest and even if you had a job. It wouldn't be covered travelling to Adelaide unless you were going from job to job on the road then it would be deductable the amounts of petrol you would use. Travelling to your workplace is not covered under taxation.

Hello @Meowmy things are going well here, can't complain. Had a slow start to the day but was able to put a load of washing through. We've had some wild weather in Melbourne since Sunday eve but its settled a lot. The news is saying we are expecting more of the same. I had to bring in things from my garden to stop the wind blowing it away! Not much else is new. Birthday around the corner. I am turning 55 years old fairly soon which is a wonderful milestone for me. Sageing while ageing!  But feeling happy about it
