@oceangirl @Shaz51 @MDT @Faith-and-Hope Thanks for post. My depression is long standing since I was ten. A lot to do my very controlling father. It is still quite painful sometimes, But I seem to recover quicker and better when that happens.
It comes and goes. But overall much better than the worst times.
Hope you have a good afternoon.Take care.

I'm actually really struggling myself atm not sure why. A friend spoke to me not long ago and she picked up that I was quite depressed. I think I need extra support atm.

@oceangirl I had depression since I was ten twelve. Got worse with stress at Uni, then at workforce. Very hard to break. Recently dealing psychological therapy. Seems to be the way to go, My anxiety a lot better. Depression seems to be ok too. I had quite a few psychotic breakdown, I think seven in total. All to do with the pains my parents . My parents did something very bad at my Uni graduation year. Removed me from my long term financee and good friends and made me ill by not allowing to go for my career but control me to be in their business and make money for them.
It was bad. It affected me a lot. Then I had flare ups.
But recently seems I am more in control of my illness.
I think insight is important.
