Something’s not right

Depression

Re: Depression

Hi @outlander

How are you? What have you been up to today?

I started off on a real small dose and I will increase slowly. I am hoping to be at my dose in 4 to 6 weeks. Hoping with the smaller starting dose equals less side effects.

Re: Depression

Perhaps you are looking for symptoms? Sometimes things Id take I wouldn’t realise potential side effects until looking it up? I guess you are more attuned to your body re exercise/fitness. Ok I’m waffling now. Thanks for the tag @oceangirl 😸

Re: Depression

Hi @oceangirl
I hope that the meds help you at this point. Side effects can sometimes be worth it if they help your MH.

Re: Depression

hugs sis @oceangirl HeartHeart

give the meds some time sis xx

Re: Depression

I'm taking the meds slowly, to allow my body, time  to adjust to the meds @TAB So far the side effects have been minimal. Its hard to ignore the side effects when it causes gastrointestinal upset, light headedness etc. I'm taking the same med I went off, a bit of a story behind that but because I had a good response it was decided I would go back on this. Last time the side effects at the start were much worse. As they say slow and steady wins the race. And starting slowly means more likely to be successful in staying on the medication (perseverance).

Re: Depression

Sorry @oceangirl , the things you said were floating around in my head when I replied before. I hope it works this time. Thankyou for your very considered reply. I have had good and also why did I do that experiences with medication. I don’t do it anymore

Re: Depression

Hi @TAB

Your welcome. I am not sure what you meant by medication and that you don't do it anymore- why is this? I know medication is not for everyone...
