Re: Carers Hints and tips to Success

Seeking help is an essential part of self-care (when it's needed).

I just phoned & got through to Sane Helpline, for the first time.

That's because they now have extended hours, so I can still make use of it with the 3 hour time-difference (between WA & the east coast).

They seemed nice & helpful, even though I was so tired that I couldn't think of much to say.

Re: Carers Hints and tips to Success

Thanks Faith-and-Hope! Most helpful! I think I am definitely a caretaker wanting to be more like a caregiver. Boundaries with my mother is very difficult to set, I ofyen fall for the guilt trips!
