Well the Chocolat Muffins are still waiting for my neighbour to come & eat them (in a few hours).

I haven't touched them.

Self-restraint (self-discipline) they used to call it...

We have been getting some light rain here today.  I really hope all those in the worst of the drought stricken areas are getting some too. 

I just stood out on my deck in the rain ... so nice.  And we have the most stunning full double rainbow you could ever see. It almost feels like you can reach out and touch it. I was going to take a photo, but it just isnt going to capture it, so I didnt even bother.  But it really is a glorious sight.  Huge, colourful, and from where I am, you can see the whole of it.

Seeing as I couldnt photograph it myself, I looked for online pics to show you.  The closest I could find is this one. Its very much like this.  Unfortunately this one doesnt show the full rainbow though.  But at least it shows the full double rings. Though the colour is nowhere near as vivid as what I am seeing live.

In a single rainbow, sunlight spreads into a spectrum of colors from red to violet. But in a double rainbow, the colors are inverted, with red appearing on the inside and violet on the outside. According to Chinese mythology, red represents the feet, and violet symbolizes the head. Therefore, a single rainbow signifies a human descending from heaven to earth. A double rainbow, due to its reversal of colors, represents the movement from earth to heaven and is considered to be a sign of future success. So it is meant to be a sign of good luck to see a full double rainbow.  So lucky me!  I'll be happy to share.

Well my neighbour only ate one Choc muffin - so there's still 3 muffins left on offer.

They're big ones, I can't eat them all on my own (we had 1/2 each).

Oh yes @Former-Member, the little ringtail mother possum still visits us. And her two babies, which I first saw in her pouch when they were tiny, also both visit. I am not able to hand feed them though. Unlike the mother, who still comes for her favourite treat of fresh raspberries.
