I dont think gf intended to do wrong.  The choir was advertising on all the choir email newsletters .. and she simply responded.  I dont mind her being in it.  I do mind the way the president condoned bullying to a level that was very difficult, blamed and told me to leave choir, rather than look at the power game.

Sons gf is strongly competitive .. thats in her nature .. I actually sent her the link with all choir news .. I am great at empowering ... but not securing my safety ...she isnt deliberately hurting me and if I ask her to do something or not to something in my house  ..... she has been going along with it.  Been over 2 times this week and no flare ups for a while ... I didnt disturb the kids rehearsal as they were doing the right thing ... it so helps me to get it out on here tho ...

its just the weirdness of my situation.  Kind of trying to be a music professional but backed into a corner by the string of unfortunate choices by my son. 

Still if the B St lady wants my respect .. she can reply ... otherwise I have called out her sincerity in her paid work .. since I had to swallow a lot of ... how wonderful she is to work with at risk youth.  She actually set me up to sympathise with her hard day at the office ... with "wards of the state" .... yeah ... and I was good enough to oblige ... that was a month before she threw me out of choir ... I am pissed. I shall not be moved.  I have thought of writing to her boss and bout usiing her work email and work time for choir activities .. and I told her direct .. copying it to others ... that I will discuss it in Royal Commission as an example of stigma .. she also told me that she won when taking the Aust govt to court re a personal issue and she doesnt care .. maybe I am supposed to remind her to care ... she is not all bad ... but too many straws on my back ... so I have issued a challenge. 

Music in my metro area .. at my level .. is a very small world.

My positive energy and facilitiatation skills as well as musicianship were not enough for her to stand up for me.  So now the gloves are off ... Community groups should have ethics .. and I am a member of the choral community.

Trust yourself to know what to do @Appleblossom ..... you have the right to feel respected .... and you have worked hard for your place in that community .....

I am going to note steps in my diary so I keep calm about it rather than get too upset.

I can also let go of the choirs and let the kids muck around there. But need to make sure the point gets through first.

I think I was restrained .. I just said that I would think she was "insincere" in her paid work .. I could have chosen a great many others ways to describe the situation. Maybe we will still be posting and I can share what happens later.

Yeah .... I'm okay ..... was a bit knocked out before, but stopped for a coffee late afternoon and just spent a while chopping the vegies for my Tawney's Soup ..... somehow theraputic .... 😊

WH has organised the at-home kids to watch a movie tonight .... he is trying hard to fit family stuff into his regimen .... but he will be snoring within the first half hour .... it will be something he has seen before anyway .... but it leaves him with the feeling that we have done something together as a family .... just part of the fragmented way we are living with his condition at the moment, and it us nice to be watching the movies .... even with the snore-soundtrack in the background .... lol ....

Thanks for asking ..... the sharing of these bits and pieces helps to carry the emotional loading .... 💜💜💜
