Re: A long rave

Morning everyone

Wondering how your day was yesterday @Mazarita. 💗 for you

Great to hear your NDIS call went well @Appleblossom. I was told that the wait for my planning meeting may be around nine months (which was pretty crushing). It's a long process but hopefully it will be really worth it once we're through.

The bookweek thing was lovely thanks @Shaz51. The big kids did some reading to us and then we sat with the little ones while the teachers read a story to them. Hugs for you with everything you manage with your family and your health.

Hi to all. Hoping the day starts off and goes well for everyone.

Re: A long rave

Good morning, @CheerBear. Sorry to hear that you and @Appleblossom have such long waits for further processing of ndis matters. I hope it is worth it when it comes through for you both. Glad the bookweek event went well for family.

I had another collapsed day yesterday, didn't manage a beach walk or the washing. But despite the continuing sleep and lack of motivation, I did feel a bit more cheerful, and was less bothered by the streams of unwanted random memories that have been troubling me of late. So, a better day, even if not productive.

@eth, hope the cold is subsiding and that you enjoy your Saturday. Wondering how your meeting went yesterday.

@Shaz51, hope your health treats you well today, and that Mr Shaz's renewed interest in photography continues.

@Exoplanet, thinking of you and wondering how you are going and what you have planned this weekend.

Back to bed for me now but sending good wishes to everyone for this day.

Re: A long rave

Good morning @Mazarita @CheerBear @Shaz51 @Appleblossom and anyone else around today.

@Mazarita hope today is better for you than yesterday.  Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better when awake.  My appointment went well, I like the support worker.  But she can only do alternate sunday afternoons starting 9 September.  She said she can help with community engagement, travel training and technology up-skilling so that's good.

@Appleblossom and @CheerBear  I think it's outrageous that NDIS is stating such long waiting times.  Hopefully you will retain your current supports in the meanwhile.  I lost mine as soon as I was accepted and am still trying to put new ones in place.

@Shaz51  Hope you get some relief with the new med.

Re: A long rave

Sorry to hear yesterday didn't work out as you'd hoped @Mazarita. Hope the more cheerful and less bothered feelings stick around.

Hey @eth. Good to hear you're finally seeing some support through the NDIS even if it isn't perfect. A type of my exisiting support (the one that "reduces the need for invasive intervention" - pretty important I think 😏) is decreasing with the rollout and I'll be lucky to see a planning meeting before it completely ends. I internally cracked at hearing the wait and it was what kicked off my very less than awesome week that just was. I mentioned how nine months with wonky support may as well be an eternity in my situation. I'll find a way to put other supports in place, but yep it is outrageous. Holding on to hope that it will be worth it and trying to find things that feel good in the meantime will be my goal. Vegetable garden at the moment.

Re: A long rave

Hello Everyone 🙂

I've finished clipping up the second roll of wire & have connected the 2nd hand stuff to it - boy was that a task, lots of scratches & things on my hands now + a couple of holes to repair in that 2nd had stuff; but I finished clearing the bottom wire of the existing fence & now have the netting completely rolled out & covering the whole house yard 🙂 . . . still have to clip the 2nd hand stuff on, which is going to be easier said than done, but I think I have effectively stopped the little fella getting out 😄 😄 😄

I can't remember if I've said about the local fence contractor is definitely going to do the boundary fence, but it won't be until October - that's Ok, it'll give me time to get the last of the plain wire together {still have to get 3000 mts}.

Blowing you kisses to help inflate you heart & soul Mazy  Heart @Mazarita
