not feeling good

Re: not feeling good

@saturnzoon I feel a lot of loss for my daughter too, but have to keep on ...

I was thinking of going to 2 events today but the cold got to me and I did some prep reading for next weeks course.

I do not spend much money on entertainment or going out usually, but I bought a ticket, so I wont waste it.  So I will get on the train tonight and see a concert.

What have you been up to so far?Smiley Happy

Re: not feeling good

I'm not doing good. I'm in a bad headspace. Very negative with thoughts of ........ I don't know yet. My back is still sore eith spasms. Can't take anti inflammatory abd to get the stronger meds niw you need to see your doctor which is what i was trying to do today.

I'm sngry frustrated helpless and I need to get away. Don't know where but somewhere where I can be alone. Some me time. Where no one can bother me. Hsssle me or nag.

So much pent up feelings inside. I need to release it otherwise something might happen.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. Just got home. I don't have internet when I'm away from home with this new phone. Will have to call Telstra to figure out what's wrong.

I was reading yesterday on the Sane Facebook page about things that help when you're consumed by thoughts.

Now this might sound cruel at first, but it makes sense in how it works.

Fill your sink up with ice cubes and cold water. Then dunk your whole face in it. You have to do it quickly - in one go. Straight in. Fully submerged. Supposedly the shock of the ice and water - startles your brain. So it may pop those thoughts right out of your head. That should help. And then you can rest on your bed with a hot water bottle on your back. No lifting anything. Give it a good rest tonight.

@BlueBay ....❤️

Re: not feeling good

sorry to hear your not doing well @BlueBay sometimes when things get to much, maybe a nice hot bubble bath, do you think might help with your pain and thoughts, do you have any candles as well and have them around your bath, have the light out close your door and hopefully could help to relax.

I don't really know much about your back spasms,  but i hope that maybe it might help you a bit.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Shaz51@Faith-and-Hope@utopia@saturnzoon

thankyou for your posts last night. @utopia Your suggestion sounds really hard to do with this cold weather but I can sort of see how it would reset your brain. It makes sense. But no I didn't try it!!

@Faith-and-Hope Aww cute picture thankyou. Always kind.

@saturnzoon Thsnks for your support. I did rest as much as I could.

Woken up this morning still a bit sore and spasms but I made an appt to see my chiro tomorrow night. Also I'll call my gp to see why they didn't call back - maybe they didn't even get my messages.

Anyway taking it easy tiday. Weather isn't looking too good.

@Faith-and-Hope I read on another post that you're moving. It's such a difficult time fir you and your family. I did read the post and feel for you so much. Sending you lots of love and hugs.
