Re: Just checking in.

Hi @Former-Member - good to read you had a better day relaxing at the beach with a friend. Getting out of ours heads for awhile is such a relief, to feel a bit of peace again. I treasure those moments.

Good luck with facing the family today @TAB - let us know how you go.

And how are my fellow co-inspirators of nutslogansincorp@🌰.com. I love the way your mum thinks @utopia lol - I never doubted I could move mountains 🌋 😝😌

We can't rush genius @Zoe7 - the slogans will happen when they will  - "just think it and they will come" 😏

I have be staying indoors cross stitching today in the air conditioning today as temperatures soar here, together with processing my daily dose of stress from my daughter. The saga continues but I continue to stitch - haven't had a spare moment to think up a slogan - will take your lead @Zoe7@utopia 💕

Re: Just checking in.

How has your day been @Former-Member.?

thanks for the comments re mine. I wish that it was possible to have these days more often. It's a friend I haven't seen for 6 months and we had the most perfect day here weatherwise. I hope it can carry some momentum to help get me through the next few days. 💜🤗

Re: Just checking in.

@Former-Member - myself and hubby are going to a friends place for a group dinner celebration on Christmas Eve. We really enjoy their company so am looking forward to it - somewhere I can sit back relax and laugh the New Year in 🙃🙃🙃🙃

My day was a mixture of drama with daughter and relaxing in air conditioning whilst cross stitching my Angel project. Up and down today but feel more relaxed now. Great how you caught up with a friend after not seeing each other for 6 months. Must of had a lot to catch up on 😄

Re: Just checking in.

@Former-Member. No problem with you helping. If I thought you were pushy - I'd say so.
Takes a lot for me to feel pushed by people.
Takes little for electronics to tip me over the point of calm. Lol. No patience for technology.
I might see if my son can help me. Coz I don't understand most of the words you're saying @Former-Member. And that's not you. That's how my brain is working or not working at the moment.
Do you want to hire me for a job? Lol

Re: Just checking in.

@Former-Member. No my brain has stopped working now.
Yes - you can move mountains. I like that - 'you can move mountains' - we need that on a tshirt.
Bipolar - you can move mountains.
Schitzophrenic - you can move mountains.
BPD - you can move mountains.
Etc etc.
Positive logos.

Re: Just checking in.

@utopia I know my daughter can create mountains to climb 😬 That's one I am keen to move. That is not the only thing I would move if I was meditating on an ants nest 😜

Re: Just checking in.

I stayed pretty still considering those ants were biting & so was the march fly. I should get a bravery award or something.
What's your daughters diagnosis @Former-Member? Maybe we could add her MI into a tshirt.
We could have different tshirts for carers and for lived experience.

Re: Just checking in.

@Former-Member - how about;
"Anxiety - making a mountain out of an ants nest" ?

Re: Just checking in.

@Former-Member or
"Meditate on an ants nest - it will raise your vibration".
Or
"Meditate on a fault line - it will raise your vibration" ?

Re: Just checking in.

Nope, I think anxiety is quite justified if one is nobbled by an ants nest :ok_hand:🐜🐜🐜😎. You do deserve a medal @utopia

My daughter has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and bi-polar/PTSD. More a serious note, she has been sexually assaulted and abused by people. But she continues to allow it. She had a wonderful loving, nurturing childhood so I don't understand why her self esteem is low - but she was an only child (other children not living with us) and was bullied.

Sometimes she can be fine - then just snaps with horrific mood swings. Mainly due to abusive boyfriend. Why does she still speak to him?
