Coffee/Tea/Chat โ˜•๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’œ

Re: Coffee/Tea/Chat โ˜•๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’œ

Hi @TAB .... ๐Ÿ˜Š ...

No more nightmares y'hear ... ๐Ÿ’• ... hope you get back to sleep soon, and peacefully ....

Btw ... paper tapes up more easily to the windows ... if you can find cheap rolls in Kmart or somewhere ... would do you for curtains for a while, give you time to get sorted.

I have used the spring-rods for curtains in rentals before - no drilling required, just a small hack-saw butcha gotta measure the rod properly ... lol ... the spring compacts within the socket but not completely.  Cutting the rod too short = mega-frustrating ....

Re: Coffee/Tea/Chat โ˜•๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’œ

I have to agree with @Faith-and-Hope @TAB. Those spring rods work wonders. Spotlight probably has specials on ready made curtains. You might as well make your new place homely so you can appreciate the Ahh feeling when you get home.

Have a fabulous day! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’•

Re: Coffee/Tea/Chat โ˜•๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’œ

yeah think quality of sleep may have been related to over selfmedication to get self to change house lol. and then stopping it. Good ideas re paper, there is already a venetian there, but its damaged, last attemptwasplastic tarpto cover it,was way less weight and dift material to other thing tried to hang up so its stil there lol @Faith-and-Hope

Re: Coffee/Tea/Chat โ˜•๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’œ

That must have been so difficult for you @Former-Member, having to leave your home, friends etc and start afresh somewhere else.  I am sorry that you still have to have contact with your ex, because of your children.  That's awful, seeing as he was abusive to you.  xo

I understand about not having anything to do with family.  I'm the same, I prefer to keep right away from mine, but it does make it difficult at Christmas time, when everyone else is with family and friends.  I try to push it all out of my mind.  I haven't put the Christmas tree up or anything.

Sorry to hear that this will be your first Christmas without your children.  Big hugs to you.

I will try and find something a bit fun to do when it comes closer to Christmas.  Without all the Christmas hype.

Did your kids enjoy the birthday party today?  I think it was today that you were taking them.  Are you feeling ok today?  It's difficult facing the day without enough sleep.  I had a terrible night's sleep last night, I'm very slow at getting moving today.

I read somewhere that you don't like taking sleep meds, same here, they cause me to feel worse the next day.  I also go through the "feeling numb" feeling.  It comes and goes.  I think we just automatically switch off when life gets "too much".  Heart

That's no good that you also had a bad night, with sleep @TAB.  And a sty in your eye, a sign of being run down, I hope it heals quick with the meds.  I try and fix most things with Iodised salt and a bit of water.  It might help clear up your eye as well (with meds).  A rest on the couch sounds like a good idea TAB.  Maybe you can catch up on all your jobs tomorrow.   Sounds like your body needs a good rest from all the stress of moving etc.  Cat Happy

Re: Coffee/Tea/Chat โ˜•๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’œ

oops @Former-Member just sent reply via email ..der .. yeah got cream for eye from chemist, didnt think of salt, yes its a process re mentally settling in here looks like re house. Hope you are ok. Sleep will improve

Re: Coffee/Tea/Chat โ˜•๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’œ

Yes, have a nap @TAB  Why not, seeing as you didn't sleep properly last night.  I might see if I can nap for a bit, or even rest.

Salt might not have been enough for your eye, so it's good that you got cream.  Sorry I didn't reply on your thread, trying to not spend too much time on here just now.  Might get back on later.

Thanks for the cuppa, lol.

Happy resting to you.  Cat Happy

Hi @Fadin    Catch up when you feel up to it, thinking of you and hope that you are ok.  Only one more week of school left for your boys, then no more school runs for a while, yay!    xoxoxoxoxoxox
