Hi @TAB .... ๐ ...
No more nightmares y'hear ... ๐ ... hope you get back to sleep soon, and peacefully ....
Btw ... paper tapes up more easily to the windows ... if you can find cheap rolls in Kmart or somewhere ... would do you for curtains for a while, give you time to get sorted.
I have used the spring-rods for curtains in rentals before - no drilling required, just a small hack-saw butcha gotta measure the rod properly ... lol ... the spring compacts within the socket but not completely. Cutting the rod too short = mega-frustrating ....

That must have been so difficult for you @Former-Member, having to leave your home, friends etc and start afresh somewhere else. I am sorry that you still have to have contact with your ex, because of your children. That's awful, seeing as he was abusive to you. xo
I understand about not having anything to do with family. I'm the same, I prefer to keep right away from mine, but it does make it difficult at Christmas time, when everyone else is with family and friends. I try to push it all out of my mind. I haven't put the Christmas tree up or anything.
Sorry to hear that this will be your first Christmas without your children. Big hugs to you.
I will try and find something a bit fun to do when it comes closer to Christmas. Without all the Christmas hype.
Did your kids enjoy the birthday party today? I think it was today that you were taking them. Are you feeling ok today? It's difficult facing the day without enough sleep. I had a terrible night's sleep last night, I'm very slow at getting moving today.
I read somewhere that you don't like taking sleep meds, same here, they cause me to feel worse the next day. I also go through the "feeling numb" feeling. It comes and goes. I think we just automatically switch off when life gets "too much".
That's no good that you also had a bad night, with sleep @TAB. And a sty in your eye, a sign of being run down, I hope it heals quick with the meds. I try and fix most things with Iodised salt and a bit of water. It might help clear up your eye as well (with meds). A rest on the couch sounds like a good idea TAB. Maybe you can catch up on all your jobs tomorrow. Sounds like your body needs a good rest from all the stress of moving etc.

Yes, have a nap @TAB Why not, seeing as you didn't sleep properly last night. I might see if I can nap for a bit, or even rest.
Salt might not have been enough for your eye, so it's good that you got cream. Sorry I didn't reply on your thread, trying to not spend too much time on here just now. Might get back on later.
Thanks for the cuppa, lol.
Happy resting to you.
Hi @Shaz51 xoxoxo How's your day going? Cloudy but humid here, catch you later probably.
Hi @Kurra Do you feel that you have recovered ok after surgery? I hope that you are ok. oxoxoxoxox
Hi @Fadin Catch up when you feel up to it, thinking of you and hope that you are ok. Only one more week of school left for your boys, then no more school runs for a while, yay! xoxoxoxoxoxox
