I heard a Rooster crowing yesterday morning (early), very close to my house.

It sounded so close, that I thought maybe it had flown over the fence into my backyard.

None of my neighbours have chooks, so I was curious.

I finally located where the crowing was coming from - over the fence next door.

My neighbour stuck his head up, & apologised for the crowing - he said he was only minding the rooster for 5 hours.

It's a natural sound, I told him that it doesn't bother me at all.

His Rotweiler dogs are much much louder than that rooster - they bark through the night.

@Former-Member  Great pics. I too feed birds in tiny yard. I get so many sparrows, a few black birds, wattle birds and doves. I spend a lot of time watching them.
