Far and Away

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Anony18 ... 😊

A lot of the big towns are like little pieces of London, and yes, quieter ...

Got to have a dip in the spa water ... 👍🏼 and managed a dash through the old Roman baths ... WH and his mum did it in 10mins .... shows what their interest is huh ....?!  Glad they have each other for cop any while he's in this state ... it's helping me stay much less stressed than I would be otherwise ....

And he's stressed ... over-tired .... not sleeping well .... fingers and toes constantly turning white and numb from the cold even with all the pocket "hotties" he brought from Aus .... misplacing things ... slept in yesterday and was livid about it cos he still had to go for a jog before breakfast right ... ?

Came out with the kids and me to watch us eat dinner last night ... MIL not eating dinner and barely eating lunch ... :face_with_rolling_eyes: .... my circus travels with me ....

The kids and I are getting to have our own time though, with WH and MIL generally pair d up and doing their own thing .... which means sitting and drinking coffee in between shopping .... but the kids and I went to an animation art gallery yesterday, and did lots of walking around the streets here.  The vegetarian burgers here are really, really nice ... !

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope - that sounds amazing. It is good you are spending the time with your kids. Even if WH and MIL appear to be difficult at times. The most important thing is that you are enjoying yourself! Sounds kind of selfish but you need to think of yourself first.

What plans for today then?!

Have you gone to Pennys or maybe it is called Primark there?! All the cheap clothing haha! I use to go crazy there. And also M&S for the percy pigs. It is surprising I have not gotten fat from the sugar!

@Faith-and-Hope I'm glad you are making the most of it. You go live life girl, you'll have the stories to tell the grandkids one day. Sending hugs💜🤗💐

Re: Far and Away

Thanks @Anony18 and @Former-Member ....

D3 has been eyeing off a lot of things in.Primark ... she will have to work out what she can afford ... 😏

My mum always wanted to do this .... come to the UK and see places where she had kinfolk way back .... even tho it's pieces of my Dad's family tree, this is as much for her .... my Dad wasn't up for the travel .... and by the time he was, he lost her very quickly, even tho the illness was s year or so coming on, it was too hard at the time to recognise what was happening ...

Travelling with my mum in spirit now .... has bitter-sweetness to it all ... and MIL is here but not really with the program ... :face_with_rolling_eyes: .... wachagonnado ??

❤️

Re: Far and Away

Me too @Shaz51, getting what's in my head to paper is sooooo hard much of the time.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope - what is D3's budget? Or is this more a luggage space! Haha.

Your mum is definitely there in spirit with you. I believe that our loved ones who passed are looking down on us and following us in our adventures and are with us. When we need them to guide us through the hard times and smiling with us when we are enjoying ourselves and having a ball!

Just got a skin check at the office. One suspicious mole on my back which will need to get my partner or even a friend to monitor and take pic every 3 months! Make sure aint growing....

Re: Far and Away

@Former-Member @Shaz51 .... try drawing the thoughts instead .... stick figures are great for that !!! My arty son does it all the time, and uses an animation program to animate stick figures .... give it a try ? Stick figure diaries ladies .., 😊

@Anony18 .... maybe consider just having the mole removed ... then you don't have to monitor it or worry about it anymore.

I have had melanoma. Caught it early, thank God ... but I have had other miles removed just to not have to consider them a threat.

Re: Far and Away

I will give it a try @Faith-and-Hope xoxo

jut get the mole removed @Anony18, I do that  xx
