I think that sort of succulent is pretty forgiving @rav3n and can get a reddish tinge in older leaves without harm. I'd put the whole pot in a bucket of water and let it soak slowly as soil that's too dry can become water repellent. Then you can go back to looking after it normally.

@ArraDreaming yep there's no drainage in the ceramic pot, only the plastic one. didn't know about 'bottom up death' till now, will focus on improving the drainage. i've watered it a lil today, and i'll cut of the dead bits tonight. and yes it does get a good amount of light.

hey @ArraDreaming so the update on my plant... my mum's taken it 😆
not sure where she's hiding it at the moment. after i told her i'm trying to revive it, she took matters into her own hands. i have a feeling it's in the backyard somewhere, gotta wait till she's home to get a proper update.
