@Adge Adge may I ask are you female or male? There are just not many men that I know who do yoga ... then again I am old so I am probably out of touch 🙂

Hi @Bunniekins I'm male, sorry I thought you knew that (that's fine).
You can count me as an "honorary female"...
I think it depends on where the yoga is held - apparently some places have lots of young surfie guys doing yoga.
We usually only have 2 or 3 men in our yoga classes (at most), with up to 15 women.
Plus they're mostly in their 50's & 60's, only one or two younger people.
I turn 50 next year...

I thought you were a guy but when you said yoga I thought hmmm I will ask :). I am very impressed that you do yoga. It takes so much inner core strength .... I dont have the will power. I wish I did. Do you meditate as well? @Adge

I don't have much inner core strength @Bunniekins I'm rather inflexible. Thanks for being impressed.
It was very hard (after my bowel surgeries) doing yoga with a stoma (ileostomy) & a bag - but I had missed my yoga classes for about 6 weeks, so I was keen to get back to it.
I was so glad with my 3rd reveral surgery, to get rid of the stoma & bag.
The surgeries caused massive scarring (30cm long & 2cm wide), so felt very inflexible in tummy for a long time.
Yes I do daily meditations, focused on breathing - a hypnotherapist taught me to start meditations, about 7 years ago.
Do you do meditation?
Adge

Good morning everyone!
I am an early riser - one of the many things I have learnt to do in recovery to help safeguard my sanity. I like the quiet when it's dark outside and no one else is up, even the cars are silent. The whole world feels as if it's mine. I'll walk the dogs just as the light starts to break across the world and this simple little tactic will fortify my mood.
How about you guys?
