Re: Night Shift

What's happening @Former-Member?
Please write when you can? Here for you.
And your 2 children.
Are you working full time?
@Appleblossom we don't have private medical insurance but when he goes into hospital.... he is taken straight through and top specialiats see him almost immediately. I comment these people have been in uni for years so do not waste their time making anything up.
To tell the truth Apple you bring up valid pionts. My Psychotheripist wrote to me advising me to keep a certain distance from what is happening.
She wrote that He will do what he needs to do but I need to like do this out of self preservation ill check the message again because don't know if that is right

Re: Night Shift

Hi Mazarita I was awake early too got up eventually to use IPad and sent long raves to my family to catch them up with all my news. Sometimes I listen to an audiobook from the library Borrowbox is the app to download can stay in bed when it is too cold with audio books .Borrowbox is free you join local library and quote your library membership details to participate. Do save up for an IPad works by touching screen and I taught myself to use it The family could show you. The world comes to you. You will be entertained for hours all need is Internet connection. If you can use and navigate the Sane forums you can operate an IPad so much more fun and easier to use than a computer If you buy one get an Apple much easier to navigate so many free apps to download and enjoy. Tomorrow if I am up early I will check Sane forumsI love it and love to write so suits me fine. Cheers

Re: Night Shift

Hi @Jacques!

This is crow pose -

crowpose.jpg

I was able to do it again today at hot hatha yoga - this time 3 x 4 secs (as well as 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec) Was trying really hard to get to 5 secs, but didn't quite get there! There were 2 other arm balances (when you are supporting/holding/lifting all your body weight with your arms/shoulders), but I couldn't do them, boo! I'm just excited I can do crow pose for now!

Hey @Appleblossom - I'm not good at being kind to myself - I keep trying on this journey to improve this vital skill.... thank you for your caring Heart

Hi @Former-Member - sorry to hear you are not coping! Is it nearly time for a holiday? It will be well deserved!

Hi @PeppiPatty - what does your son want to study at university? I hope he gets relief from the migraines & vomiting soon! Are you feeling any better today?

Namaste,

A

Re: Night Shift

Oh my friend @PeppiPatty, what has happen ??

Re: Night Shift

Hello @Appleblossom

How is your day going ?

Re: Night Shift

It's just that my darling son is suffering and went to the police yesterday and when he left  he said his legs gave away under him and he fell down. No one saw him so he got up and went to work for the day.

My husband  chain smokes and it's so awful to see. He eats and eats......Whats the way to go??

I had a dream last night where, my Mum purchased me an old very beautiful federation home in a very good area of Perth. My oldest brother engineered it and he was angry that My FAther had stolen my home while my son was very ill....... over 6 years ago.

The back garden needed a lot of work to it but it was just....empty...lawnmowed with nothing in it except a few shrubs at the end of the garden. Insude the home, nothing had been done to the home since it was built and one room, a bedroom supposedly had ghosts in it and every time the home was sold, the new owners would only keep it for 8 months because they were scared but I would be fine ....I can handle this.

There was a LOT of work to do but it was doable. The actual home was very beautiful and calming.

I must say, epon reflection......not really my type of home....Im not into old anymore but golly........very happy. I could work and make it my own.

Around the corner, a group of  wet robbers lived but again, I wasn't intimidated at all..........they had nothing to do with me

Re: Night Shift

@PeppiPatty.....

Sounds like you are worried about your son & husband as well as ruminating on the past....

Maybe try to think of a few things you are grateful for? I'll do it too - Today I'm grateful Partners in Recovery paid for most of a 6 month membership & I went 3 x this week & finally mastered a strong, challenging pose, I am grateful I have a partner who loves me, I am grateful for my kittens, I am grateful my partner is making lots of yummy pumpkin soup lately, I am grateful for kombocha, I am grateful that my friend genuinely appreciated me helping her this week, I am grateful for the caring people on this forum etc. Now while I did this - things that I am NOT grateful for popped into my mind, but it still helped to look for the good in the darkness. Maybe it will help you - I can't always do it....

Has your husband tried to give up smoking? E cigs helped my partner to give up smoking after 20 years - now it has been 4 or 5 years since he has smoked. I'm certainly glad I don't have to passive smoke anymore.

I'm guessing your husband is on an antipsychotic that makes him eat a lot - many of them do that... If this is he case - can he try a different one (he may have already gone through this process)

I hope your son is okay...

Take care,
