@Former-Member you are brave almost beyond belief, in my book. good on you, brave lady! no, no-one is 'normal', everyone is out-of-control, or gets some sort of bout of mental illness or some period of severe disorder at some point/s in their lives, but we're the ones with the label.
Labels ... i might do a 'campbell's soup tin' warholian series of paintings on mental illness, not! i didn't actually even work on my ikebana last week, although i bought the silver spray paint for it.
i really can't wait until mental illness is passe.

nah not brave but if i dont try and tell people (who have no lived experience) the reality of being poor, growing up in crisis following crisis, and being affected by that daily would just leave me infuriated...

@Billamba Bill, my jokes about 'normal' people are a bit tongue-in-cheek - i'm trying to sort of poke fun a the prejudices and self-stigma.
i hate to say it but i've copped discrimination in every job i've ever had, some of it extremely vehement. sorry.

@PeppiPatty thank you Peppi, that is something i didn't know about myself, although it stands to reason, considering what i DO know about myself. have you any advice for me on the topic? i presume 'highly triggered' means very knee-jerk-reactive? and, if so, as i said, have you any advice as it's an area i probably should work on, given its nature.
