Hi all!
@Shaz51 Those pictures are amazing 😄
How is everyone going? My first few days of work were full on, and exhausting. So much to do to be ready for the kids to arrive on Monday still and a bit frazzled but will get through it all. I'm excited because im going to be teaching choir and doing some music stuff this year though!
I've been exhausted at the end of each day and think thats going tobe my biggest challenge really in staying ok. But will keep going.
How is everyone going?

@Former-Member hey, lisajane! i'm good. trying to focus on personal growth and obedience. when i grow up i want to be 'normal'!
I have such a range of personas, although i suppose that's typical of everyone at some point. i am quite old 'though to carry on how i do sometimes. still, if you treat people as responsible and reasonable that is usually how they behave, and the opposite is true too.
anyway, i've been struggling with 'unwanted thoughts' a bit, to put a diagnostic to the situation. not enough work, really. if they start to make horrible comments about people with mental illnesses in my next job (which they will), i am going to bring ice cream with me to work and spend all day eating it instead of working.
anyway, i have decided on a career strand that actually looks promising now, and have set a goal. it's a bit 'sidney poitier' in nature (for further illumination of this point please see my post on sidney poitier). i really carry on like i'm four years old at this site, but that's fun. no harm done, i guess (i hope).
you're very brave going back into the workplace proper - those 'normal' people are funny critters.

Yes,the unwanted thoughts from too much unoccupied time is hard. Ive been like that too so im looking forward to being busy again. I guess teachign is kind of both team based and individual... you know you're in your own room with the kids all day, you get worn out physically and mentally so its good for me i hope.
Im not sure anyone is always 'normal'. Everyoen has a crap time in their lives at some point or another... just lots of people can't imagine living like that day in and out...
Its hard working with people who really dont get it... and some times teachers can be really closed minded... which is hard, but i try to educate using my past history a little bit, without disclosing too much.
