Re: Night Shift

@eth I thought it was just me with shaking hands...... youngest son back in hospital will write later tonight I'm looking forward to hearing all the talk

Re: Night Shift

@eth I LOVE your flower...how are you ?

@Jacques theres someone called @WyldIce ho has started up a thread called new connection I think and can you say hi to her? She has a great pic of a fairy as her picture and shes lonely but she is confused about  how to manage and get into SAne forums.

Maybe @Appleblossom or @Shaz51 could say hi too ??

Just to let you know that my son is in hospital and having an MRI tomorrow morning this afternoon and he will get the results tomorrow morning.

The neurologist said that she doesnt think that anything is wrong with him so thats good but he's gone to emergancy 5 times in 3 weeks for severe vomiting up his food. She said that it's probably just a virus or quitting smoking green.........did this happen to anyone ??

Seems like a silly billy long term virus to me

Ille tell all tomorrow.

Night night my dear friends

Re: Night Shift

Hi @PeppiPatty the flower is a lotus.  Hope your son's MRI was all clear.  I never had any problem like that when I quit the green.

Re: Night Shift

Dear @eth

I so like your picture.

Your name is really cool too. I used to be called just another 47 yr becasue I didnt think that this site was going to take off like it has and it would only be around for a couple of months. So much for that, hey.

My son had an MRI all is clear. He vomits whenever he eats but this morning, he hasnt. vomited.....it's very stressful. He thinks it's because he took green but I dont think so neither does my husband.........

Thanks for tellkng me what you told me.....were you fulltime though ?

His head stuff is difficult to think of because it is unusual. He needs to own his problem in his head because this will be the whole of his life.

Re: Night Shift

Hey @PeppiPatty yes I was full-time - morning noon and night.  Stopping wasn't easy, cold-turkey was the only way for me but I made a list of the benefits of not doing it and the problems from doing it and would look at that when the urge was upon me.  I don't miss it now.  But I do still smoke tobacco and have only managed to cut down by about 1/3 on that.  So hard for some reason.

Glad to hear the MRI was clear and that today has been better.  Not sure what you mean by the problem in his head.  I do know that getting an accurate diagnosis, persevering with working out meds that work for me and staying on track with taking them has really helped me.  But I also have to avoid lifestyle triggers etc so I guess that's what you're meaning by owning it.

Re: Night Shift

Hi everyone, I know it's night shift, but I have a big apology to make. I didn't mean it but I had a post removed as I put some specific details in a post 5hat can trigger others and I feel awful about it. And, I inappropriately dumped a lot of depressive stuff in the Friday Night Feast. If any one is awake, I'm sorry for all that.

Re: Night Shift

hi @Angels333

I get posts removed all the time. It just means that this a brilliant, very well moderated forum. Dont worry about it. Your bringing up 3 well balanced children. Focus on hat, ok?

Re: Night Shift

Hi @ethWhat I mean....about owning it, is that He has a shunt inside his head that does'nt work and a hole drilled in his skull and sometimes, he needs to go to hospital and it's really scary like the past 3 weeks have been. He can go into emergency and they rush him straight through because his case is slightly unusual and he can winge and complain and demand food and attention or he can just tell his symptoms...... and just be very very truthful about what he is experiencing. He has an awesome neurosurgeon, he looks ...'normal,' If he smokes green and all that atuff, he could create damage and he maybe should Be more aware of how his body is.

We have experienced some Real silly billies screaming for things in emergency and I just pointed out to him that he is an adult now and he will need to manage it himself.

He has this.....silly .....VIEW of his condition; it is unusual but it CAN be taken out of context.

@eth, why is it so hard to quit smoking? my husband smokes like a train racing through the countryside ( chugga chugga)

What does this mean? I take lots of meds and am......very happy but get very tired.

working out meds that work for me and staying on track with taking them has really helped me.

Re: Night Shift

Hi @PeppiPatty I think it's so hard for me for two reasons.  One is the act of doing it being such a habit and the other is that nicotine is a really addictive chemical.

Sounds like your son's situation is really complex.  Must be scary at times.

Hi @Angels333 you don't need to apologize to me.  Hope you're feeling a little better today.
