The dialogue thread was good and could come back into being... @Shaz51 and @PeppiPatty and this could go back to being the night shift??? If people want. Just me trying to be tidy .. lol.
I like the little boy .. he was probably put up to it by a 13yo girl. She is a bit sassy and played ringing the door and running away to freak out my son, and broke a pot and was talking recently about getting revenge. She is a bit manipulative, for me to have good effect. I will keep polite and friendly with her but there is no trust now. I have also been told she ridicules my son. Silly kid doesnt realise my son is getting paid to sing and play. The lil boy was my beau who used to ask me to help with my shopping trolley. I made a fuss of him and told them what a gentleman he could be. Then another troubled male skater15 yo joined us .. he had trouble lifting his eyes and having eye contact with us. My heart went out to him, but couldnt do much. It is a hard luck area, not as bad as the flats, where I grew up, but not much hope if the kids arent shown how to get a decent life. I have had success with other kids on the street. Many of them come around and/or move on, but there is goodwill and honest communication.
I do other things for a while and forget about it, a weed pops up and I manage it. I am just trying to hold the weeds at bay .. and get my Vit D .. everyone benefits cos it looks nice.
@PeppiPatty I am so glad that you are making headway with your boy.
I am asking for a few walks with the girl. It helps me to tell you rather than play on my mind and feelings and then it could magnify.
