Hi @Appleblossom .... ๐Ÿ˜Š

It was a lovely relaxed lunch anyway .... have never quite been in step with the in-laws .... very difficult early on and now mellowed out a lot, but not warm in the way I like my relationships to be .... oh well .... we get on well enough now to make it a family.  We don't have to be best friends to make it work.

S2 did well.  He played 5 pieces, one a Sonata, another was called Frolicky-rollicky-wind, others had German or Russian names that I can't retain .... ๐Ÿ˜† ... Grade 3 .... you are probably familiar with the level and the pieces.  He made a couple of mistakes in a couple of the pieces, but you would have had to know them to recognise it.  While it won't be a Distinction, he will have passed well, I'm sure.  He plays with a lot of passion and intensity.

@PeppiPatty .... it was just a piano exam Hon .... nobody was putting him down .... but I love that you were so ready to defend him .... ๐Ÿ˜˜โค๏ธ

@Appleblossom .... I love โฃ Capella.  And I love hearing about what you get up to.  Very nice .... ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
