@BlueBay. What a hard thing to have to hear from your psychologist. And well done for going for a walk - a way to quiet yourself.
I think it's good your psychologist said this today. it shows he is out of his depth. He can't help you anymore. That doesn't have to be a reflection of you. Your needs are just beyond his abilities. Maybe you will be better with a psychologist who is experienced in BPD. Maybe this is your time to find the right therapist for you.
I understand this will be a hard day.

Stay positive. Use soothing techniques. Practice breathing exercises to take your mind off it & calm yourself.
Don't go back to the self destructive self - that just wants to run away or SH. rest up tonight and tomorrow talk to the CAT group about recommending a BPD therapist.
