Re: A long rave

Good Morning MazyHeart @Mazarita 🙂

I hope you've got your internet issues sorted out. That's one of the most annoying things for me! I'm not surprised you went slowly on your 3km walk! Well done 🙂 It seems we're always recovering from a busy life 😉 I've started mine from the Center of my Universe, though I did get a little gardening done yesterday. I'll be taking more notice of the plant stand at the local shop from now on 🙂

Thank you for helping me feel alive, I believe in our friendship, I believe we understand each other a little and I really appreciate you 'letting me in' and helping me believe in something againHeart

Re: A long rave

Posting briefly again from mobile. Looks like our issues with broadband might be a week before properly connected again. Had a tense phone call with ISP last night that ended with things as unresolved as when I first rang. Then looked up their 'service status' page this morning, where it says there is a current interruption to services on our exchange, and that this will continue until next Monday! The guy on the end of the phone last night did not seem to know about this. So I will need to ring them back to see if I can get more info sometime today. So, I may not be on the forum much all this week. This message has taken me about 15 minutes to write and post from mobile. Sending good vibes to everyone for today and the week ahead. ox

Re: A long rave

Best wishes for peace in this time of frustration @Mazarita

Re: A long rave

@Former-Member, thank you for such a wonderful message. Just saw the image text. Can't respond properly because of net issues, but love to you. ox

@eth, thanks for realising how frustrating these things can be, and for your calming words. ox

Well, I spoke to ISP again. Was very firm about the inconvenience and even managed to talk them into giving us some credit for the length of the interruption. It seemed like a miracle that they agreed to it. Usually such requests are flatly denied. But it doesn't make it up still that we will be without net for a week. I guess I will get a bit faster posting mobile messages during that time, lol.

Also just realised I can post messages if I can handle how long it takes to do this on mobile. So that really just rules out being able to chat in real time. C'est la vie. See how quickly I am adapting already! Lol.

Re: A long rave

Sick tonight. A galloping cold caught up with me over yesterday, metamorphosing rapidly from coughing more than usual, to chest congestion to increasingly stuffed up nose and head. Along the way I also picked up aching body and now a deep, hacking chest infection with delightful yellow discharge. I'm hoping the speed of this in coming on also indicates that it will leave me fast too. For now, I am very under the weather.

The boredom of this day when home internet also went down has been troublesome too. Somehow I still managed to get myself out on the beach in the  sun  for a 3km  walk. Aside from that I've really been bored out of my brain.

Had to cancel public dental appointment I have bee waiting on for several months. I will have to  cancell  an eye  appointment today too. Phone now playing up too. Will  post  instead of raving more.

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita - As I often do, I am looking at the morning sky thinking of you. It's really still this morning and the sky is completely cloud free. I can see all of the stars this morning and the esrliedt birds have started waking up. It's so peaceful.

Internet issues suck heaps and I can understand your frustration. Often I feel worse when I am without tech as it hits home how much technology is part of daily life when it isn't there. I hope the sickness passes quickly for you also 😞 Sending you big hugs and a virtual pot f my favourite winter vegetable soup (if you like soup) 💗

Re: A long rave

Hi @CheerBear, a moment when the internet is working on my desktop. What we have been having is 'dropouts'. Meaning mostly no internet. Hooray for this morning's reprieve. Thanks for your lovely morning message. It's so nice to receive this when feeling as poorly as I do. Yes, so much of my life is net dependent. It's my number one form of engagement with the world still in terms of actual hours spent with it. Oh, yes, please, to the vege soup. I do like soup! I'm so glad you get these peaceful morning moments before the day takes off for you. And very glad to read and share them with you. I hope it's a good one for you today. Heart

Hi @Former-Member, I feel remiss that I haven't responded in more detail to your recent messages. I hope you will forgive me for being too under the weather to say much at this stage. Thank you again for the lovely sentiments in your most recent one. I feel humbled, and touched, that in some way, our communication has enabled you to believe in something. Perhaps it's the ordinary joy of connecting with other people, even if it is online and not a part of physical reality. I hope that, with time, you might even be encouraged to reach out more for this connection wherever you are. I know that you already have the centre of your universe, a great thing even with the chaos you encounter there. I hope that sense of connection with the world might grow over time in a good way. Heart

Hi @eth, I missed you last night but was still on mobile so couldn't chat anyway. Hope your physical health is treating you kindly and your inspirations are both uplifting and grounding. Look forward to when we next meet again in forum land. Heart

Hi everyone who might be passing by here. Sending good wishes for the day to you. Smiley Happy
